Meet the Cupps

A family business since 2000.

Hello! We started up Ben's Dog Boarding in 2000, with one building, so our youngest son could earn money. Well received, we soon added a second building so that we wouldn't have to turn people away, some of whom had family emergencies. When Ben grew up and moved out, we changed the name to Cupps' Dog Boarding, operated by my husband and myself. We are licensed for forty dogs. Sometimes we have a waiting list during the summer, holidays and spring break, but generally we are able to satisfy requests. My husband suffered with leukemia, during which time our oldest son Jonathan moved in with us to help with his dad, home and boarding kennel.

We love our doggie boarders and do everything we can to make their stay a happy one while they are away from their families. Jonathan is wonderful with them, carrying on conversations with them, singing to them, cuddling them, playing with them, etc. When our clients arrive, fling open their car doors and the dogs practically break their necks to run down to the kennel, that does our hearts good and is the best form of pay.

We invite you to come see us for your boarding needs. "The Lord God Made Them All."

★★★★★
"Fantastic place to board your dog! We have had Belgian Malinois' for years. They're high energy, highly intelligent dogs that don't typically do well at boarding facilities. Cupps Kennels is one of only two boarding kennels that I've found that our Mal did well at while boarding. They take fantastic care of the dogs in their kennels, and are very well educated on various breeds' needs. Highly recommend them!"

"It's either a trip to Cupp's or Grandma's house. I wouldn't trust my babies with anyone else. Clean kennels, outdoor play area, wonderful people. I would stay there myself!"

"So happy to have found this place! My two pointers LOVE it there! Spacious, clean, and the pups were so happy when I picked them up! Also was able to call for an update to see how they were doing, which I appreciate being able to do! Will use again."
